Responsibilities:

  • Develop cross-browser responsive website, design and implement new features for both frontend and backend.
  • Develop web-based mobile applications.
  • Take part in full development life-cycle.
  • Work as a part of SCRUM team.

 

Requirements (must have):

  • Good frontend and backend development skills. At least 4 years of web development experience.
  • HTML5, CSS3, Javascript + jQuery, experience with developing responsive design.
  • Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP 5.
  • Zend Framework / Symfony / yii framework / OOP - experience with MVC or similar patterns.
  • Good understanding of HTTP protocol.
  • Ability to discover and solve problems in multi-server and multi-technology environments.
  • Passion for technology and quality, self-learner, open-minded and well organized.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Fluent english.

 

Advantages (nice to have):

  • Experience in working with Magento, OsCommerce, OpenCart or similar Ecommerce Platforms is a BIG plus.
  • Background in financial development.
  • Experience with using external web-based API’s.
  • Angular.js/Backbone
  • Twitter Bootstrap
  • bower, Grunt, LESS
  • Mobile applications development - iOS / Android
  • Apache administration
  • Experience with AWS and/or Rackspace
  • Experience with caching systems (e.g. memcached)
  • git, git flow
  • Experience with working in SCRUM teams
  • Contributing to opensource, public repos on github.com

 

The interview will be split into two parts, can be done on different days:

  • First meeting: Meeting with Leon and Yehonathan (about a hour) - general questions.
  • Second meeting: On-site test, the applicant will be asked to write a simple application/module to show his both frontend and backend development skills. (3 hours at most)
